Purpose-Built Applications

Real software solving real problems in Australian industries.

ValetMate

A complete valet parking management platform. Real-time session tracking, digital key management, QR ticketing, and customer-facing check-in; all in one system.

QR-based ticket scanning and digital key assignment
Live dispatch board with real-time WebSocket updates
Smart locker integration with auto-generated PINs
Customer ratings, damage reports, and payment processing

PickEasy

Harvest management for fruit farms. Picker onboarding via QR, live session tracking, daily payroll reports, and farm evacuation planning built for Tasmanian orchards.

QR-based picker onboarding and harvest logging
Interactive farm maps with block, row, and variety tracking
Automated daily payroll reports with customisable templates
Farm evacuation planning with live warden assignments

Giving Back to the Community

Beyond my own projects, I contribute directly to the tools the community relies on every day.

KiCad Core

HTTP Library Support

Implemented HTTP library support directly into KiCad, enabling component databases to be served over a REST API rather than static files. This allows teams to connect KiCad to live component management systems; a feature now used by engineers and hobbiests worldwide.

KiCad Plugin

InvenTree × KiCad

An open source plugin that bridges InvenTree, a leading open source inventory management system, directly into KiCad's component browser. Engineers can search, filter, and place real components from their live parts inventory without leaving the schematic editor.

Ness2Web — Open Source

The Ness2Web PCB bridges a Ness D8X/D16X alarm panel to your local network over Wi-Fi, enabling home automation integration without modifying the panel itself. It pairs with a companion web application that provides a live dashboard for monitoring and controlling the alarm system from any browser. Both are designed and released freely for the community; full schematics, layout, firmware, and source code are on GitHub for anyone to build, modify, and improve.

Built in Tasmania.
Used Across Australia.

Tasmania might be Australia's smallest state, but it punches well above its weight in agriculture, tourism, and engineering. I'm proud to be part of that story; building technology that helps Tasmanian businesses operate smarter.

From cherry orchards in the Huon Valley to valet operations in Hobart's CBD, my software is designed for the real conditions and real people of this island.
